Oh... my... goodness.... It is so... goddamn rare to see fan-artwork of Red in a solo setting like this. :happycry:

It's absolutely gorgeous how you made the light glint off Red's armor and parts of the Scythe. I love how relaxed he looks, with his feet hanging off the edge of the platform, almost dangling as they cast shadows behind them. At the same time, Red's expression and posture here are those of a proud and confident leader. We see how well he maintains his weapon, just as a good warrior should, as there is not a hint of wear and tear on it at all.

And the infinite sea of fluffy, soft clouds are such a lovely touch here as well. It gives the implication that Red has a softer, more thoughtful side than is initially perceived. At least, that is how I see it. Beautifully colored and so well painted, this has to be one of the most magnificent pieces of Red fan art that I've ever seen.

Man, this looks awesome! Love the contrast, looks pretty sharp. And all the details, from his armor to the tips of his scythe, are nicely done. Love the rough texture too. I think the clouds look a bit unnatural, but they still look pretty well done. It's cool how the bottom clouds are all thick and form some sort "ground" effect. :D Nice!

Thankyou~ I had an amazingly hard time with the clouds, and made around 7 or 8 tries on them, and was what I spent the most time on this drawing. I've learned a thing or two from that experience xd but yeah, thanks for the comment!

it's a very beautiful piece :) it's too bad it didn't make it in. I like the warm colors up against the warm purples, the clouds ... i think the clouds could be a little fluffier (the one right to the left of him), cause it looks a little too round. The highlights are sooo nice and I like how he looks really cool and metal-like even in a warm environment.
